What customers say?

“ The ladies that run the shop are so nice. They took the time to get me exactly what I was looking for. I tried the tease. Absolutely wonderful! Great atmosphere. I just wish they didn't have the tile chairs in the back for older people like me or disabled people. If they had a table with short chairs that would help because I'd like to sit there and have tea but I cannot get up on a tall chair. Otherwise the place is wonderful ”

“ It may be a little on the pricey side, but you pay for the quality. The variety of teas bring us back. There is something for every member of the family to enjoy. Bagged teas now seem stale. Recently, the news has highlighted how some of the packaged cinnamons we buy has varying levels of lead. I don’t worry about that at S&TE. I can choose between three types of cinnamon, based on how I want to use them: baking vs. cooking. The staff here are some of the friendly people that I have met. They seem genuinely interested in their customers and enjoy what they do. I will keep coming back and recommend S&TE - just try it once, and you’ll see what I mean. ”

- Traci Radford -

“ This place is awesome and the price for the tea at the tea bar is extremely affordable. Only $4 for a small iced tea. You can even mix different teas together and create a combination you like hot or cold! Ireland was who helped us. She was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She was even able to get my son to like his tea by adding a little honey to his drink! I had raspberry leaf tea mixed with the dragonfruit tea! It was SO selicious. There are a ton of options here from black tea to green tea to caffine free teas. All organized so well and able to smell each kind before ordering. I cannot wait to go back and try more! ”

“ Had a great experience! I went with my siblings, and we were there for like an hour smelling spices and tea! The two people working were so helpful and so very nice. The tea that I purchased is awesome and tastes amazing! And I don't think I've cooked a meal that hasn't had all the spices I bought (3). ”

“ My favorite spice store in town. For those who like to cook and experiment with new spices this is the store for you. They have a great selection of teas. My personal favorites include pomegranate green tea and ginger berry citrus herbal tea. It's a fun store to go and explore. You will always find something new. So, what are you waiting for! ”

“ The Spice and Tea Exchange is a delightful place to sample (smell, or taste in the case of tea) both new and familiar spices, teas, and other dry staples. Salt and pepper varients have their own sections along the with dozens of sugar varieties, teas, and more common spices. The atmosphere is fantastic and I would spend many hours and dollars here if I had more of both. ”

“ Get ready to be hit right? Smack in the face with some wonderful smells as soon as you walk in the front door. A very well laid out store with an extremely wide variety of merchandise. Definitely definitely worth your while walking around downtown. ”

“ Stopped by looking at different tea. They were nice enough to actually prepare the one I was interested in to see if I’d like it. Perfect temp and everything. Super helpful staff. A full selection of peppers and salts as well as a variety of non salt spices. ”
